David W Klotz created MRM-1962:
----------------------------------

Summary: Verb Tenses in Repositories Metadata Content Storage are Confusing
Key: MRM-1962
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MRM-1962
Project: Archiva
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Documentation
Reporter: David W Klotz
Priority: Minor

On the guide listed on: http://archiva.apache.org/docs/2.2.3/adminguide/repositories-content-storage.html

It keeps switching verb tense, which makes it very difficult to understand how a new setup works. In example:
"Prior to version 1.4-M1, repository content is now stored in a jcr repository (based on Apache Jackrabbit implementation)."

Does this mean that it currently is stored in jackrabbit/jcr repository, or does it mean it used to be stored in jcr, but is no longer?

Martin Stockhammer commented on MRM-1962:
-----------------------------------------

Yes, I found this irritating too. I will update the documentation for the 3.0 release.
For this case, it means "Starting with version 1.4-M1"
